- Johnny Mac, Asbury Park- Great space. Low light. Tavern feel. Skeeball. Thumbs up.
- Draft House, Long Branch- This place should be great…in theory. On a Saturday night, the music matches its crowd which is a bad thing. The bartenders take their breaks in tanning booths. Switch out the iPod or fire the guy who thinks he’s a DJ because he can hit “Next” on his iTunes, and it has a chance to be more in sync with its name.
- Jacks, Long Branch- Part Deux. I’ve been here before. I never leave sober. Cheap and easy. The drinks were inexpensive, too. Slam!
